The Montauk daisy (nipponanthemum) originates from the coastal areas of Japan and belongs to the chrysanthemum family.
Montauk daisies have dozens of large, white, daisy flowers with yellow centers. The foliage is a deep green and has a leathery texture. These potted plants can be replanted outdoors where they can grow to 2 or 3 feet tall.
Montauk daisies do best with well drained soil. They prefer full sunlight to partial shade.
